Spike Lee's "Bad 25" documentary, which had its world premiere in August at the Venice Film Festival and screened in September at the Toronto International Film Festival, will have special one-week theatrical runs in New York City and Los Angeles respectively later this month.

Mr. Lee's feature-length documentary celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of Michael Jackson's "Bad" album, which has sold between 30 and 45 million copies worldwide, according to numerous sources.

"Bad 25", which won raves at Venice and Toronto, will play from October 19 through October 25 in New York at the AMC Loews on Third Avenue and 11th Street.  The documentary will play in Los Angeles at the Chinese 6 Theaters at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard from October 26 through November 1.

Mr. Lee's documentary will then be shown on ABC television on Thanksgiving night before appearing on DVD and Blu-Ray early next year.

Note: "Bad 25" was authorized and approved by the Michael Jackson Estate.
