Senator John McCain and President George W. Bush on August 29, 2005 in Luke Air Force in Arizona. Hurricane Katrina at this very moment was ashore in New Orleans and various parts of the Gulf Coast of the U.S. and many people were drowning. Senator McCain didn't make a trip out to New Orleans or any of the other affected regions until six months later, while Senator Obama and President Bush were both on the ground in New Orleans on September 5, 2005.
