Charlize Theron will receive a special tribute from SFFILM next month during the 2018 San Francisco International Film Festival.  The actor will participate in an onstage conversation at the Castro Theatre with "Tully" director Jason Reitman following the film's San Francisco premiere on April 8 at 7:30pm.

In "Tully", Mr. Reitman's seventh film, Ms. Theron stars as Marlo, a mother of three whose relationship with a nanny reveals new horizons.  The director and actor have collaborated previously in the 2011 film "Young Adult".

Among many other things aside from her roles in numerous films including "Monster", "The Fate Of The Furious", "Snow White And The Huntsman", "Atomic Blonde", "Mad Max: Fury Road", "The Last Face" and the forthcoming "Gringo", Ms. Theron has been a United Nations Messenger Of Peace, focusing on ending violence against women.

The 2018 San Francisco International Film Festival runs from April 4 through April 17.
