Eight Documentary Shorts On Academy's Short List For Oscar

The documentary short subject category for the 85th Annual Academy Awards has been narrowed to eight contenders, which will be whittled down to between three and five finalists for the nominations to be held in January. 

The eight contenders are the following documentary short films:

"The Education Of Muhammad Hussein"

"Inocente"

"Kings Point"

"Mondays At Racine"

"Open Heart"

"Paraĺso"

"The Perfect Fit"

"Redemption"

The final Oscar nominees will be announced on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
