Mickey Rourke's excellent work drives "The Wrestler", Darren Aronofsky's
forthcoming film about a beaten-down has been of a 1980's champion New Jersey
professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson (played by Mr. Rourke).
There will be additional written about the film in this paragraph when Mr.
Aronofsky's film opens. "The Wrestler" will be released in New York and
Los Angeles on December 17, 2008 and in San Francisco on December 26, with
additional openings in the U.S. and Canada in mid-January 2009. The film
also stars Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood and features end credits music from
Bruce Springsteen's new album, which arrives in January 2009.
