So just who will win? And which states will John McCain and Barack Obama
win?
Here are The Popcorn Reel predictions on today's presidential election in the
U.S. :
Barack Obama will win the election, with a seven or eight percent margin in the
popular vote and -- where it counts -- win 310 electoral college votes.
The states that Senator Obama will win: California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii,
Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, North Dakota, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan,
Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New
Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Vermont,
Delaware
The states that Senator McCain will win: Alaska, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Montana,
Texas, South Dakota, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia,
Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nebraska,
Oklahoma, Tennessee, Wyoming
Of course we may not know who will have won the presidency until well into the
morning of November 5, but unless something afoul is going on, this election
will result in an Obama triumph.
