Marc Webb To Direct Next "Spider-Man" Film

Sony Pictures has just announced today that Marc Webb, the director of the critically-acclaimed "(500) Days Of Summer", will direct the next big screen installment of "Spider-Man", which is scheduled for a 2012 release.

After Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire left the "Spider-Man" film franchise recently, Mr. Webb was rumored to be in the running to direct.
