A soul has gone
In double quick time
It's sad to know
That life is cruel
And death is quiet
What's left behind
The tears we find
The solace we seek
In millions of strangers
Who've loved you
But never known you
Who've admired you
But never met you
Some of us can relate
Some of us can't
Your loss is so deep
It makes us weep
With you
We seek
Understanding
And answers
Please know in grief
You're not alone
Because you're our son
As much as Jett is yours
We watched you grow
Before our eyes
We embrace you
As your son flies
We stand with you
As your clan cries
For he's the one and only
Jett for a reason
Soaring through the skies
And standing tall in heaven
