This is no April Fool's joke -- though it was announced on April 1.
Actor Hugh Jackman, who hits the big screen across the U.S. and Canada on May 1 as Wolverine in Gavin Hood's film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", is challenging fans of the comic book franchise in the United States to put their town on the map. Your town or city could host the world premiere of the new film. In an X-marks-the-spot challenge, the town or city with the most x's (which are made at the website x-menorigins.com/premiere) will host the world premiere of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" on Monday, April 27.
Mr. Jackman will be hosting the world premiere in the winning American town. The Tony winner and recent Oscars host will bring some friends and foes of the film to the winning town or city. The extravaganza will be complete with red carpet, klieg lights, movie stars -- everything you'd expect at a big-time Hollywood movie premiere.
Remember: the city on the U.S. map with the most x's (votes) will host the world premiere! The winning town will be announced on Monday, April 20.
